Story
Hello!
I'm Holly, wife to James, Mummy to Grace and Tilly, and the creator of The TillyBob Bunny, (and friends!).
After the birth of my youngest daughter Tilly in October 2014, I made the decision to leave my job and become a stay at home mummy. Before that, having completed a degree in Conservation and Restoration at the University of Lincoln, I worked for Historic Royal Palaces, based at Hampton Court Palace, in their Conservation Department, caring for the amazing collections housed within their buildings. I was there for 12 years and loved every second!
I have always been creative, I love all forms of making, sewing, painting, anything that involves using my hands. It was that, combined with my love of History, that certainly led me into Conservation.
I taught myself to sew at an early age using an old singer sewing machine. I have always been fascinated by how things are made and put together and would work on patterns to create clothes and accessories for all my teddies and dolls. My wonderful hubby once braved a stitch and craft show on his own to buy me my first 'proper' sewing machine, the same one i use now to make all the TillyBob Bunnies.
I made the first bunny for Tilly not long after she was born, she was an instant hit with both my daughters and many friends alike. The rest, as they say is history, and i am now able to run my little business making the TillyBobs from my home in Surrey. I am grateful to every single one of you who has supported me to get this far. Thank you.
